I am a new client as of about a month and a half ago. I was very nervous since this was my first time to the dentist in 8-9 years due to cost/insurance/general life things. I appreciated the small section in the new patient form where you can explain any "dentist anxiety" you have. On my first examination, I was asked if it had been a while since I had been to the dentist and I said yes, but they did not push me any further about it nor did they make any negative comments about it. Long story short, I got a deep cleaning, followed up by a regular cleaning a few weeks later and I've never been happier with a dentist. All of the staff is kind and willing to explain things if you ask them. Payment and treatment plans are discussed discreetly and not in front of a whole waiting room and the facility is phenomenal. Getting your gums poked is slightly less painful while watching the Great British Baking Show while getting your teeth cleaned. I absolutely would, will, and have recommended this dentist office to anyone looking for a new dentist!

My most recent teeth cleaning was totally different than in the past. I always left feeling good about my visit. Not so much this time.
I was asked multiple times for multiple additional services even after saying no thank you. For the first time in 50 years of teeth cleaning I left with stains on my shirt from the hygienist not being careful. Just an overall poor experience.

I have had bad experiences in the past with dental work but this experience was great. I was nervous and the dental assistant Alivia (I believe ) talked to mean to calm me down and asked me about things that were off the topic of dental. She answered my questions about what she was doing and was very knowledgeable. She also told me how to improve my oral health. The dentist was very nice and was attentive to my questions. I knew I had geographical tongue but I asked her about it cause the last dentist place tried to up sell me on a test to tell me if it was cancer. Which scared me into saying yes. I am so happy she didn’t try to up sell me on anything.
The facility was very well kept and had all the newest tech. It was small but very well laid out.

The Doctor did not have many options with me since I am undergoing cancer treatment. He and his hygienist did what they could under the circumstances and left me with great instructions to continue clean dentistry. He also made room in his schedule to do what he could do at the time.

On Monday I had my appointment with Sycamore Hills Dentistry. My hygienist was very informative when I asked her questions about whitening my teeth, and also fluoride.She did a good job cleaning my teeth.
